Who could have dreamed up a world such as this?
Could this current world situation be a perfect setup for a major leap forward in human development? In Finding Our Way Forward, Alice Gardner proposes this view and then engages the reader in an introspective journey to the core of who we are and back out again to all of the world’s intractable issues. We are then led to find the unique part each of us has to play in humanity’s grand maturation process. This is as significant an evolutionary transition-point as was the beginnings of our logical/analytical thinking. Now, again, our old ways of thinking are becoming obsolete.
Learn how to adapt your thought processes resiliently during this fast-moving and often tumultuous time. This is how we can make a difference. This is how we can be a part of leaving behind a world which we are proud to let the children of the future inherit.

Alice’s First Book (2008):
Learn how spiritual awakening is available to you right now in the midst of daily life!
5 1/2 X 8 1/2 trade paperback.
“Do we actually need to live in rarified spiritual environments in order to be good spiritual people? Do we need to only work in certain kinds of jobs, or have certain kinds of spouses or families? Look into it for yourself but, for me, the answer that has come out of this investigation is no. The essential breakthrough that is the culmination of what we call the spiritual life is to realize that what we are is already 100% with us and available, no matter what the circumstances that we are living in. From that knowing, personality still has its preferences, but it lightens up about having to get things entirely its way all the time. The mind-made self is finding its place in a very different configuration about how life works. As it finds that place, it finds that its job is much easier and much more doable than it ever was when it was trying to control things all the time. Now mind can just rest when it is not being useful doing the kinds of things that it really is good at.
“As our process of spiritual awakening unfolds, we find ourselves able to stay aware of the opportunities that come to us through our uncomfortable moments, and to welcome with honesty and openness all that life sends our way. The dualities of good and bad, spiritual and non-spiritual, black and white, high and low, open or shut, all are still visible. They keep giving richness and texture to the world we experience, but we are less affected by their changeable nature because our attention is more and more on that which does not change. In seeing the world in this way and letting what we see penetrate us fully, the opposites are found to contain each other, and then even the preferences soften. We find ourselves to be the one that contains both sides of all of the dualities, the one where they meet and find peace with each other.”
“Alice welcomes us to the simple wonder of what is, to the effortless Self that is always present behind every thought, every action. This is a journey from mind to heart, from separation to oneness. Follow its thread, because these are words that can open what is closed, free what is imprisoned, and help you to live awake.”
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee Ph.D., Sufi teacher and author Working with Oneness.
“Alice Gardner has succeeded brilliantly in breathing her humanity into the story of awakening to “what is.” Throughout the book, she points out the universality of the cross-cultural perennial Truth that everything is, quintessentially, only One. By directly encouraging us to actively use whatever experiences show up as an occasion to deepen our awareness, she short-circuits the mind’s proclivity to separate itself from the heartbeat of Life. Clear, personal and very readable. Highly recommended.”
